1.5x Rust servers
These servers are faster than vanilla without being a wipe that is over by the weekend. Trees, nodes and barrels give half as much again, so farming still costs you but you spend less of the evening on it. The table below lists every online server whose name says 1.5x or x1.5, ordered by players.
Population is concentrated. The busiest few servers hold most of the players on this page; the rest are small or empty. If you want fights rather than quiet building, stay near the top.
Check the last wipe before you join. Many of these servers run their own weekly or biweekly schedule rather than waiting for Facepunch, and the wipe day varies. Player numbers tend to halve within about two or three days of a wipe, so the first day or two after one is the easiest time to get started.
The Group column often shows 8, which is the default and usually means no limit was set. Servers that advertise solo, duo or trio limits will say so in the name.
Questions
3 answers about this page and the numbers on it.
What does 1.5x mean on a Rust server?
The gather rate is set to one and a half times vanilla. You get 50% more wood, stone, metal and scrap from the same nodes, trees and barrels. Facepunch treats any change to the gather rate as a modification, so these servers sit in the Modded tab rather than the Official one.
How often do 1.5x servers wipe?
It varies by server. Some restart weekly on a fixed day, some every two weeks, and a few only follow the monthly Facepunch force wipe. The wipe column on each row shows the estimate for that server, and the force wipe schedule covers the dates everyone shares. Checking the last wipe date tells you how far into the cycle you would be joining.
Are 1.5x servers good for solo players?
The extra gather rate helps a solo keep pace with larger groups, so these servers often suit solo and duo play. Group limits are not set on every server, though, so read the name and the Group column before you commit. Searching the server name for solo, duo or trio will find the ones that advertise a limit.
More about these servers
A server appears here if its name contains 1.5x or x1.5 and it is online now. The table does not verify the actual rate, so take the name at face value. Servers that are down for a restart drop out until they come back. Wipe estimates come from observed wipes and published schedules; a tilde means the time is approximate. The full server list adds filters for region, group limit and map size. If you want a bigger multiplier, see 2x servers.
