How often is the server data updated?

The data refreshes every five minutes. We read from Steam's public Rust server list and from servers directly. This means a player count or wipe time can lag slightly behind what the server shows. Treat each figure as a recent snapshot, not a live feed.

Can I request the full dataset?

Yes. Email hello@bestrustservers.org and describe what you need. We will find a way to help, within reason and without disrupting the site for other users.

Is Best Rust Servers affiliated with Facepunch Studios?

No. Best Rust Servers is an independent site. It has no connection with Facepunch Studios. Rust is a trademark of Facepunch Studios.

These terms cover how you may use Best Rust Servers and what you can expect from the data.

The site is provided as it is. We collect server data from Steam's public Rust server list and from servers directly. It refreshes every five minutes. A server can report a wipe late, publish a false name, or show a player count that lags. Treat every figure as a snapshot, not a guarantee. We aim for accuracy but do not promise it.

Using the site. You can browse and compare servers without an account or payment. Do not send rapid automated requests that slow the site for other players. If you need the full dataset, email hello@bestrustservers.org and we will find a way to help.

Crawlers and automated tools. Search engines, bots and AI crawlers may access the site. Check robots.txt and llms.txt before you start. They show what is available and where. Keep your request rate low so human visitors still get fast pages.

Server owners. Your server appears because it is on the public list. Every detail on its page comes from what the server itself publishes: name, tags, wipe schedule and player slots. To change what we show, change it on the server. Most edits appear within five minutes.

Independence. Best Rust Servers has no connection with Facepunch Studios. Rust is a trademark of Facepunch Studios.

Changes to these terms. We may update these terms without notice. The date at the bottom of this page shows when they last changed. If you continue to use the site after that date, you accept the new terms.
