Best Rust Servers tracks every public Rust server. Data refreshes every five minutes.
The in-game server browser is slow to load and hard to compare. This site takes the public Steam server list, including names, player counts, queues and the tags each server publishes. It also queries each server directly for map seed, FPS and entity count. Not every server answers those direct queries, so some servers show only what Steam publishes. From those sources, the site keeps player counts, wipes, ranks and history for every public server.
Use it to find a fresh wipe, a busy server in your region, or a server with the group limit and settings you want. The server list is the starting point, and live player counts show how many players are on each server now. Wipe dates are listed for every server, and status shows whether a server is online. Start with the top servers if you are not sure where to look. You can also filter by region, such as EU, US or AU, or by type: vanilla, modded, PvE or official.
Ranks are based on players over the past week, hour by hour. A server that is busy every day ranks above one that fills up for a single evening after a wipe. The lists are ordered by player count, never by payment. Best Rust Servers is independent and built by Rust players. It is not affiliated with Facepunch Studios, and nothing here is endorsed by them. Server names, descriptions and images belong to the people who run those servers.
Everything shown comes from what servers publish about themselves. If something about your server looks wrong, the fix is usually in the server's own settings, and changes appear within about five minutes. If it still looks wrong, write to hello@bestrustservers.org.
