Official Rust servers
This table holds only servers sitting in Rust's in-game Official tab, run by Facepunch or its partner networks. Ranked by live population, with queue size and wipe dates alongside. Each row refreshes every five minutes.
The list is not fixed. A server is here while it is listed as official and online, and drops out when it is not.
Official servers mostly keep vanilla settings, so choice comes down to population and wipe day. Most wipe on a fixed weekday, roughly every week or two, and Thursday is the common one. A few run monthly.
Europe carries the largest share of players, so EU evenings show the longest queues. Check the Next wipe column before you plan a fresh start, then look at the queue beside the player count. Group limits default to eight and are only shown when a server sets them lower.
Questions
4 answers about this page and the numbers on it.
How often do these numbers update?
Player counts, queues and status refresh roughly every five minutes. Wipe dates come from each server's published schedule and its own recent history. If a server drops offline, it leaves the table until it returns.
Do official servers have lower gather rates?
Gather rates are not usually listed because the default is 1x. Most servers in this tab run vanilla, and the Tags column shows the ones that do not. If a rate is not stated, treat the server as 1x until you check in game.
When do official servers wipe?
Servers choose their own schedules. Most wipe on the same weekday every week or two, and Thursday is the most common. The next wipe column gives the estimated date for each row.
Why is there a queue on some official servers?
They sit in the game's Official tab, where most players look first, and regulars know the wipe times. The largest run several hundred slots and still fill on wipe day. Joining straight after a restart is the quickest way past the queue.
More about these servers
Sorting by player count finds population, not fit. Region, group size and wipe day decide whether a server suits you.
For narrower filters, including region and schedule, use the full server list. Community servers running close to vanilla appear on the vanilla list, and the next force wipe date is on the wipe schedule.
