Duo Rust servers
Each server on this list publishes a group limit of 2. That is the setting the game enforces, not a word in the title, so you and one other player are the largest squad on the map. Raids and roaming are capped at two versus two, and the rows above are ordered by current population.
The table is sorted by rank, which is built from player numbers over the past seven days. A server with a steady evening population usually sits above one that fills only on wipe day, even when both are busy right now. Look at the wipe dates in each row before you commit to a base. Weekly wipes are common on duo servers, monthly is next, and the gap between Last wipe and Next wipe tells you how much time the current map has left. The Group column should read 2 on every row. If an owner raises the limit to 3 or 4, the server leaves this list at the next scan, about five minutes later. The Tags column carries the gather rate and other settings the server publishes.
Questions
4 answers about this page and the numbers on it.
How is a duo server different from a normal Rust server?
On a standard server you can team with as many players as you like. A duo server sets the group limit to 2, and the game blocks any team that would grow beyond that. The result is that every fight involves at most two players on each side, and no zerg can form.
Can a server with duo in its name still allow bigger teams?
Yes. A name is chosen by the owner and does not control the group limit. This page reads the limit the server publishes, so a server called Duo something with a limit of 4 will not appear here. If the limit changes, the server drops off at the next refresh.
How often do duo servers wipe?
Wipe schedules vary by owner. Weekly is the most common pattern on this list, with monthly behind it. The map resets at the monthly force wipe in any case, but each server also sets its own dates for map and blueprint resets, shown in the table.
Do duo servers use vanilla gather rates?
Not always. Many duo servers run 2x or another multiplier, and some keep the default 1x. The rate appears in the Tags column when the server publishes it, and more detail sits on the server's own page. Check it before you join if the rate matters to you.
More about these servers
A two-player cap changes how a wipe plays out. You cannot call in a third when a raid goes wrong, and you will not meet a group of eight on the road. Blueprint wipes are separate from map wipes and are set by each owner, so read the server page before you start farming. If you play alone, see solo servers. If a third player often joins you, trio servers fit better. Comparing rates is easier with 2x and vanilla pages, and region matters for ping, so EU and US lists are useful next steps.
