Best Rust PvE servers
These servers carry Rust's PvE tag: players cannot damage each other or raid each other's bases. The table below shows every online PvE server, busiest first by players right now. Player counts and wipe dates refresh every five minutes.
Wipe rhythm is mostly monthly, with a smaller group on biweekly. Monthly gives four weeks between force wipes; biweekly resets sooner if you prefer a fresh start. Check the Next wipe column before you commit. Europe holds roughly half the players on this list, so EU evenings are the busiest time. If you play elsewhere, filter by your region and check the player count at your usual hours. Sorting by Last wipe shows servers that wiped today and still have new maps.
Questions
4 answers about this page and the numbers on it.
What does the PvE tag mean on a Rust server?
A server with Rust's PvE tag prevents players from damaging or raiding each other. Your only threats are the environment, animals, scientists and any server-run events. This page lists only servers that publish that tag.
Do PvE servers wipe as often as PvP servers?
Most follow a monthly or biweekly schedule, and all servers reset at force wipe on the first Thursday of each month at 19:00 UK time. The Next wipe column shows each server's planned date. A server with no published date still wipes at force wipe.
Are PvE servers suitable for new players?
They are a low-risk place to learn gathering, building and crafting without losing progress to other players. Once you are comfortable, you can move to a PvP server. Our beginner server list covers that next step.
How can I tell if a PvE server is active?
Sort the table by Players to see the busiest servers right now. Open a server's page to view its player history over the past week. A server that only fills on wipe day may be quiet a few days later.
More about these servers
Every row carries the PvE tag, but that tag alone does not say whether a server is modded, vanilla, community or official. Most on this list are modded, which usually means plugins for events, decay control or quality of life. If you want an unmodified world with no player damage, pick a row whose tags show vanilla and no modded chip. The list only includes servers that publish the PvE tag; a server that runs PvE rules without the tag will not appear here. Many zombie servers are also PvE, if you want more to fight.
