Solo Rust servers
A solo Rust server sets its group limit to 1. You play alone, and so does everyone else: no team invites, no clan tags, no partner arriving mid-fight. This page lists every online server on Best Rust Servers whose published group limit is 1, heaviest population first. Counts and settings refresh every five minutes.
The numbers on this page change through the day, so treat a single reading as a snapshot. Population is highest in the evening for the server's own region, which is why an EU server can look quiet from the US at midday and full a few hours later. Published wipe schedules are close to a fifty-fifty split between weekly and monthly, and many rows with no schedule still reset on the same weekday every week or two. Check the individual server page for the day it actually wipes rather than reading the Schedule column on its own. Rates sit on vanilla for most rows; 2x is the most common rate written into a server name. A group limit is a Rust team rule, not a security system. If two players share a base without using the team feature, only that server's admins can act on it.
Questions
4 answers about this page and the numbers on it.
What is a solo only Rust server?
It is a server that has set its maximum team size to 1. You cannot form a team in-game, and the usual team markers and shared map do not apply. Other players are still on the map and can still talk in chat, but nobody has a teammate.
How does this list decide which solo servers to show?
It shows every public Rust server that is online and currently publishes a group limit of 1. Servers appear and disappear as those two things change, so the list is not a shortlist or a ranking of quality. Population order is the only sort applied.
Do these servers wipe weekly or monthly?
Published schedules are roughly even between weekly and monthly, with a smaller number on longer intervals and some not publishing one at all. Many servers without a published schedule still wipe on the same weekday every one or two weeks. The server's own page shows the date it last wiped.
Can two players share a base on a solo server?
The group limit covers Rust's built-in team system, and using it to group more than one player is against the rules on most of these servers. Two players building next to each other without a team is a grey area that each server handles differently. The server's own rules page and its admins decide what counts as a breach.
More about these servers
Every row here carries the same group limit, so the Group column has one value. That is by design: a server drops off the page the moment it raises its limit or goes offline. Rank is a rolling seven-day figure built from hourly population, so a server that is steady every evening can sit above one that spikes on wipe day and empties afterwards. Group limits start at 1; duo servers cap at 2 and trio servers at 3 if you would rather not play entirely alone. Before a monthly force wipe, the wipe schedule shows which day your server resets.
