Community servers, no training or build tags
This page shows Community servers only: player-run, not official, not modded. Anything tagged Combat training, Build server, Creative, Battlefield, Minigames or Battle royale is taken out, so what is left is survival Rust. Names and flags come from the live server list, refreshed every five minutes.
The Community tab is the largest group in Rust, and most of its servers are quiet. Around three in ten have anyone on at all; the rest sit empty between wipes. Group limits are the setting owners change most. The default is 8, and roughly four in five servers leave it there. Solo, duo, trio and quad servers exist but are the minority. Region matters too: European servers fill in the evening CET, North American ones some hours later, Australian ones earlier. Wipe days are the other variable. Many owners publish no schedule, and even those who do change it, so the Next wipe column is an estimate from the server's recent behaviour. If you want a busy start, join on or just after a wipe day.
Questions
4 answers about this page and the numbers on it.
Which Rust servers are listed here?
Servers in Rust's Community tab, which are player-run, unmodded and not official. The list excludes servers tagged Combat training, Build server, Creative, Battlefield, Minigames or Battle royale. Only servers that are online now appear, sorted by current players.
What does the Community tab mean in Rust?
Community servers are run by players and cannot change core gameplay such as gather rates, loot or stack sizes. That is what separates them from Modded servers, which declare those changes. Community owners still choose their own team limit, map and wipe day.
How often do these Rust servers wipe?
Each owner sets their own schedule, and many do not publish one. The Next wipe column estimates the date from the server's recent wipes. All servers also wipe at the monthly force update, which lands on the first Thursday of the month.
What is the Group column on this list?
The Group column is the server's own team size limit. Values below 8 are shown as solo, duo, trio or quad. A blank means the limit is 8 or higher, and 8 is Rust's default.
More about these servers
Servers are ordered by current population. The busiest server this minute is not always the best place to spend a month, so sorting by Rank shows which ones keep a population through the wipe rather than peaking on day one. The table only lists servers that are online now. If you prefer official servers in the mix, see the vanilla list. For modded servers, the modded list covers those separately. To change region, group limit or wipe timing, use the full server browser.
